Opportunity -  

A bank only has so much capital.  Once it's been given out that's it! So only by giving it to clients with the most potential can a bank grow faster than their competition.  Yet loan officers want to approve loans as fast as they can so they can get their incentive bonuses.  

This module puts employees in the driving seat to see what kind of simulation score they can achieve.  They are given a set amount of capital then the opportunity to study potential clients and make a variety of decisions.  Their decisions determine whether they (and the bank) survive in the 'real' business world.

Hands-on training -

is one of the best ways to teach concepts and skills. So when I was assigned to design and develop a module on increasing the bank's shareholder value I knew I needed to implement simulation.  This is an extremely important concept for bank employees to understand.
